MoneyWorks Cashbook is a practical and lightweight financial tool that was designed to help entrepreneurs of all sizes with their accounting. It allows you to manage customer data, bank accounts, suppliers, and items, as well as to generate different statistical graphs. All these features are easily reached through a well-designed hierarchical menu.
The above-mentioned menu is divided into three sections – Getting Started, Navigator, and Dashboard. In the first section, you can have access to the program's help and documentation, and establish your settings. Here you can define your tax settings and rates, add all your financial accounts - including bank accounts, vehicles, office equipment, capital reserves, etc. - and register your unpresented checks and deposits. In addition, you can also register all your customers and suppliers, enter your opening balances journal, and register your items, among many other features.
Inside the Navigator section, the most important area is probably the one called "Day-to-Day", which allows you to see your daily cash flow and how your accounts relate to each other in a visual way. A similar thing happens with the "Chart of Accounts" area, which shows the relation between all your accounting categories. Besides that, the program includes a "To Do" area, designed to allow you create reminders and entries for your pending phone calls. These can be put under any of the four categories available - daily, regular, monthly, and tax time. more
